Meet the Greater Cleveland Office

More than 90% of seniors want to age in their own home with dignity but getting the right type of care can seem daunting. At Senior Helpers of Greater Cleveland we believe getting the best care for your loved ones should not be complicated. Eileen Watt’s leads the Greater Cleveland office because of her passion for helping others and her interest in the growing need for in-home care services. Eileen is committed to delivering the best possible in-home care to seniors in the west-side Cleveland community.

We take in-home care seriously and make it a priority to provide the highest level of client service possible. Over the past ten years we have built an exceptional team of care professionals, each committed to remaining at the forefront of the in-home care industry through our proprietary ongoing training and education programs.

Our History

Our History

This office is part of an individually owned and operated network of Senior Helpers locations, servicing clients in the entire Northeast Ohio area. As one of the area's premier home care agencies, Senior Helpers of Greater Cleveland will help you find the proper care for your loved one, no matter where they live in our combined service area.

In 2008, Senior Helpers of Greater Cleveland was opened. Since then, we have become trusted as the premier and reliable partner to assist with senior care needs. Expanding our in-home care and elderly services across the entire region, we are able to accommodate the increasing need for higher quality home care. With local offices in Independence, Pepper Pike, Strongsville, Akron, and Hudson, we have become one of the largest senior care networks in the local area and the entire Northeast Ohio region. We provide a level of security, comfort, and professionalism to our clients that gives confidence and peace of mind to them and their loved ones.

Each year, our dedicated team of caring professionals is privileged to care for hundreds of local families in Strongsville, Parma and Middleburg Heights. We also provide care for a number of seniors in North Royalton, Berea, Brook Park and North Olmsted. We are well-known for our work ethic, compassion, and professionalism, which has helped our staff to become the agency of choice for local hospitals, extended care facilities and healthcare professionals. Carrying some of the highest standards in the industry is a priority for us and has allowed us to be recognized as "Best of Home Care 2013" by Home Care Pulse. We are proud of these honors, but it is the testimonials from families we have cared for that truly give us cause. Whether for one hour a day or 24/7, we will be there for your family.

We invite you to call and speak with a care consultant. Although this location offers senior care and elderly services throughout Parma, Strongsville, Middleburg Heights, Berea, and the surrounding suburbs, we have many other care managers and care providers throughout the Northeast Ohio region. We also offer after-hours consultation by phone to assist with your research in choosing the most appropriate care provider for in-home senior and elder care services.

Our process

Our process

Many families have never had to begin the process for in-home care services before. It can be very stressful selecting an agency to help your loved ones. In the initial consultation with clients and their loves ones, there are many questions that they will not know to ask. We strive to help make the entire process simple and stress-free, and calling your local office in Strongsville is the first step. The sooner you reach out to us, the better you will feel in having your questions answered, and also less anxiety in receiving advice and recommendations from our experienced staff.

A Client Services team member will:

  • Discuss and review your loved ones' specific needs
  • Explain a typical day with the in-home care services that are the best match for the current situation
  • Properly outline and summarize the cost of care,
  • Arrange a convenient time to meet with you and your loved one – typically at the location care is needed

This complimentary in-home assessment is part of our normal process, and is designed to introduce your loved one to our services, and describe our mission and our culture. We meet many individuals that are naturally very private and resistant to care. This first meeting assists in creating comfort, and starts the process in gaining their trust and confidence, as well as yours. From here we set up a care plan that addresses their needs, and a schedule that is affordable and practical. There are no contracts to commit to. Our Service Agreement is highly flexible to meet the needs of each individual client. We look forward to hearing how we can help your family's specific needs.

Today Monica showed up right on time and from the first few moments of meeting her I knew she would be a great help to my Dad.  She was personable, friendly and gave off an aura of caring and loving the job she was doing. She immediately went to work making Dad feel comfortable and getting him to talk about himself and his family. I was there to meet your home care person and was also there to do some light cleaning but left the two of them to their own devices to get acquainted. I'm very impressed with her.  She took Dad to McDonald's, which is one of the things he's missed since his vision problems and not being able to drive, and by the time I got back from doing some grocery shopping for Dad, the two had become good friends. If Monica is an example of the rest of your staff, your clients are indeed blessed.  Thank you and your personnel for helping me make Dad a little more comfortable.
